Our Lycra products are made with 200 gram four-way stretch nylon. We use heavy duty elastic straps and a very high quality quick release buckle. The pass through loop between the shoulders is reinforced with elastic webbing for more durability. The Hood & Shoulder Guard has a large zipper that makes it much easier to put on your horse. It also has a fleece noseband to protect against rubbing.
